Eight unique mushrooms will need to be found within the game's sanctuary ruins, but not all will be found on flat terrain. As with all missions, the map will show you an area where they are located, but finding them can be a bit tricky.

Compared to most of the search missions in Monster Hunter Rise, you will notice that most of the unique mushrooms are clustered in the same general area. The only problem is that when you get to marker 4 or so, you will discover a mountain on your way.

These mushrooms are usually grouped in the same general area, however when you reach a marker 4 or so, you will see a mountain in front. You can use the other path to move up the mountain, but it will also learn that it will not have mushrooms.

At this point you will have to look for some vines to climb the wall and reach the top of this area. You should keep in mind that the mushrooms are not as much one on top of the other as they appear on the map, but this is enough. So we recommend looking for the Colony of Honhos item in the sanctuary ruins to complete the quest.
