Ghost Recon Breakpoint will not let you play offline

Ghost Recon Breakpoint could disappoint your fans for their online modality.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the videogame inspired by Tom Clancy novels, has been acclaimed by its fans, as it has the expansion of the open world with the addition of new stealth and survival mechanisms. However, Ubisoft said that in order to enjoy the title, a persistent Internet connection is necessary even when playing for a single player. This could be received in a negative way by the fandom.

Ghost Recon Wildlands managed to break with modern standards, allowing solo players to enjoy the game offline. This game had cooperative multiplayer input / output when it was online, however, it had its limitations.

On the other hand, Ubisoft decided with the new title Ghost Recon Breakpoint, that the previous limitations were too restrictive, being this enough to justify that the game is only online.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint will feature a single character system for PvE and PvP. To maintain this system of a single character, which is linked to the progression of a character, requires that the player is online.

Recall that Ubisoft has shown a marked shift towards games only online in all its properties, which is why it took us by surprise that Ghost Recon Wildlands has existed with an offline mode.

On the other hand, the players of Ghost Recon Breakpoint will still be able to play the whole game alone, based on the first details of Ubisoft.

It should be remembered that Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 4 of the current year.
