Genshin Impact: How to Unlock Moshiri Kara Domain - Ultimate Guide

What is Genshin Impact's Moshiri Kara domain?

"Moshiri Kara" or "Tutelage: Nest-Bed of Ambition" is Tsurumi's unique domain challenge: an abandoned mansion that can be found on a subset of islands outside the Sea of Mist, inhabited by "ravenous wolves".

You know why it's worth knowing how to unlock the Moshiri Kara domain, well, because this will allow you to get Primogems, Adventurer EXP, Electro Sigils and a bunch of ascension materials. But this has a process that we cover below.

How to unlock the Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact? - The quest

Moshiri Kara can be found north of Tsurumi Island. But first you will have to head to the tip of Tsurumi past the Shirikoro peak and activate the Waverider waypoint > look for the Moshiri Kara icon on the map and activate navigation and then move to the point on the Waverider.

When you are on the shore you will have to get off the Waverider and pay attention to the 3 Electro Totems locked with a Phase Gate each.

In order to access the Electro Totems challenges, you will have to venture through the Phase Gate to the land outcrops and complete the 3 time trial challenges, which you can identify according to the shape of the statue.

You will have to form a party with a Cryo or Pyro character, shield or healer and an archer to be able to face the challenges Defeat opponents, Dexterity and Explode explosive barrels.
The three time trial challenges in Moshiri Kara can be a bit tricky if you don't know what to do, so below we'll tell you how to proceed with each one.

This first challenge can be found at the phase gate to the north and to complete it you will have to kill 2 opponents in 80 seconds.

These two enemies are Thunderhelm's Lawachurls, who can equip an electric shield that you can destroy with Cyro and Pyro elements easily. These enemies have 50 percent physical resistance, 70 percent electrical resistance and 10 percent elemental resistance, so they can be easily affected by elemental reactions such as overcharge and electrocharge.

After destroying their shields, the best way to proceed is with the Melt and Vaporize settings, while preventing them from killing your health, so you can use a shield or healer.

How to unlock Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact? - Gate Two

After finishing off the Lawachurls, an Exquisite Chest will appear and Phase Gate will take you to the original gate: the nearby Electro Totem is now unlocked. But before anything else, you'll need to get your hands on Mora's floating crates and exploration points, and leave the Hilichurls for the Waverider on the shore.

Charge the Electro Totem with an Electro attack and access the Phase Gate on the right side of the island > you'll encounter a targeting challenge behind the rubble, in which you'll have to explode 6 barrels in 2 minutes. The location of the barrels will be marked with the yellow diamonds, but they will all be in the Hilichurl's boathouse.

Equip yourself with a bow to destroy the barrels, and shoot at a central barrel to destroy the ones around it.

After this challenge you'll find an ordinary chest nothing special, but don't be discouraged, because you'll find others with the Waverider later on that will be worth it. Head to the phase door back to the main island to activate the Electro Totem.

How to unlock Moshiri Kara domain in Genshin Impact? - Final door

The last door is related to a skill challenge, for which you will have to find 9 electric particles in 2 minutes.

But first of all, you will have to summon the nearby Sakura Bough's Electrograna and remove the particles from the sky. The Electro chain stops at another Phase Gate after three particles, so access the Gate for particles four and five without approaching the next Gate.

Again you will have to summon Electrograna but on the new plot of land, until you return to the original Phase Gate and get a much better chest than the previous one.

On the island with Phase Gate you will have to activate the Electro Totem, which will collapse Moshiri Kara's rocky prison and make the domain rise up so you can get it.

After unlocking Moshiri Kara you will receive an Achievement and 5 Primogems.
