The best place to find the telescopes is east of the map in Sanctuary, Launchpad and Seven Outpost VII, where you can find them grouped closer together. The only bad thing is that they are close to the edge of the map, so you may need to use a vehicle to get out of there quickly, in case Storm Circle appears on the west side.

The telescopes are usually on the ground next to the walls of the buildings, you will simply have to pay attention to the white squares with exclamation mark on the mini map. These will tell you where to find them.
