As if the release of Week 9 Challenges and the Fortnite X Avengers event weren’t enough, Epic also released the activation event for the third rune of Loot Lake.

In order to activate the third rune, players had to travel to the factories near Polar Peak. Once inside, players would need to dance on the disco floor until the meter in the room filled up.
It only took about an hour for the event to be completed as millions of players got on to dance it out.

The meter had to be filled twice according to a post from @FortTory, though this might have been due to some global events not progressing until the player enter a new game instance.

Once completed, the rune inside the room was transferred to the Loot Lake vault. The rune now sits inside its slot, activated and waiting for its two other friends to arrive.

We can expect that the next two runes with arrive in the coming days. Be sure to check back here for information on the Loot Lake event and how you can participate.
