With the end of season 8, the Overtime challenges of Fortnite came, available to complete.

As it is known, the Overtime challenges of Fortnite were first introduced in the last 7 of the game, in which the reward of the players, after completing 13 of 20 challenges, was the Battle Pass of the current Fortnite season 8.

This time there is no Battle Pass for season 9, as a reward, but instead the opportunity to unlock the new styles for Sidewinder, Ember and Master Key, plus an exclusive loading screen and seasonal XP .

The first Overtime challenges Season 8 were released last Friday, May 3rd. The availability of these Overtime challenges started with two free challenges (to which anyone could access) and three Battle Pass challenges.

Free challenges

- Collect coins in prominent creative islands (0/20 coins).
- Finish in the top 10 squad with a friend (0/3 times).

Battle Pass Challenges

- Complete Free Time challenges (0/2).
- Complete free Extra Time challenges (0/4).
- Complete Free Time challenges (0/6).

Now the developer Epic Games has launched two new Overtime challenges, which reward players with 1,000 XP of the season. The challenges are:
- Damage to opponents (1,000).
- Place the best 10 in duos with a friend (3 times).



This fact makes the overtime challenges gratify almost complete. The list looks like this:

Free challenges

- Collect coins in prominent creative islands (0/20 times).
- Finish in the top 10 squad with a friend (0/3 times).
- Deals damage to enemies (0/1000 damage).
- Finish in the top 10 of duos with a friend (0/3 times).
- ???? (0 / ????).
- ???? (0 / ????).

The last two overtime challenges are going to be unblocked in the next few days. Once available, from that date players will have three days with ten and eight hours (3 days and 18 hours) to complete those challenges.

With regard to the start  season 9 of Fortnite Battle Royale, it is expected for this Wednesday, May 8, and in order to prepare the ground has already launched the first teaser  Fortnite season 9.
