Guide to learning how to use a firefly jar or a flare gun at Misty Meadows from Fortnite
With this new week starting at Fortnite, new challenges have popped up to complete in-game and among those challenges is one of using a firefly jar or flare gun in Misty Meadows. Misty Meadows is easy to find, as it is a name located on the map, but getting the mentioned bottle is the question, so we will teach you how to find and use it.
How to use a firefly jar or flare gun in Fortnite's Misty Meadows?
There are several ways to get fireflies in the game, but the most common is to be aware of your surroundings while running around the map. This is because the fireflies appear at random and you can only detect them when they emit their characteristic brightness in the area where you are.
When you find them, interact with them to catch them and this will create a jar where you will keep the fireflies.
If you hit another player with them, it will deal 40 damage, and then proceed to deal damage to them if they remain in the flames. They will also set structures on fire, and can eventually burn a building or an opponent's box.
The Bengal Gun
On the other hand, the flare gun can be obtained by means of loot chests, flames, supply drops, or it can simply appear randomly on the ground, just like any other weapon in the game.
This weapon deals 60 damage to your opponents and only takes six shots when you pick it up and it will take 1.5 seconds to recharge between shots. Something this weapon does when you run out of ammunition will disappear from your inventory, so it looks like there will be no additional ammunition for flare guns.
This weapon may seem very slow to some so it should be easy enough to dodge, but it appears to have a blast radius when it explodes and is not the type that creates fire after it is fired.
You only need to use the objects in this area, in the challenges there is no need to cause damage to an opponent with them. Now that you know how to use a firefly canister or flare gun in Fortnite's Misty Meadows, you can successfully complete your first mission this week in the game. Luck!
