  Fortnite has been making sporadic updates and is currently releasing update 13.20 for Fortnite has made a very interesting change to the game, by introducing portable update banks.

You can now find chest upgrade benches, or just lying on the ground as standard loot. You can launch them, and they'll make a fully functional workbench, allowing you to upgrade or downgrade your weapons, but the upgrade doesn't make it very clear where to find a portable upgrade bench and because of that we'll show you how.

Refresh banks using your harvest tool. They have 400 health and, after breaking them down, they can be collected and put into your inventory.

There doesn't seem to be a limit to how many times it can be broken down and then reused the same upgrade bench, so once you have one in your inventory it should be nice, plus you can break it down with your harvest tool and take it with you.

You should plan a route to an upgrade bench whenever you want to, and you can break down the first one you find and take it with you throughout the game.

Finally, one thing to keep in mind about the upgrade bench is that if you throw it at your own feet and you really don't have room around you, you will get caught in the upgrade bench and have to break it before you can move on.
