Final Fantasy Announcement Coming at State of Play - Ultimate Guide

Sony recently opened its series of video game news called State of Play, something similar to the Nintendo Direct broadcasts.

The first news release from Sony talked about a new Iron Man VR videogame, it was also mentioned that the event on May 9 could bring news about the remake of MediEvil among other titles.

Although Sony has tried to keep quiet about what users would see in the event, well before it was realized there was a rumor there would be news of the game state of Final Fantasy.

The rumors became stronger a few days before the event when Shinji Hashimoto, executive of Square Enix published in his Twitter account the following message "Oh, has arrived", which according to rumors sought to promote Final Fantasy.

Hours after the message from the Square Enix executive, the official Final Fantasy Twitter account added fuel to the fire with two apparently random tweets about Chocobos. One tweet simply showed Cloud of Final Fantasy 7 with a Chocobo, while the other was a survey of Chocobos.
