It seems that EA has decided to remove the exclusivity to the EA Access Xbox One to be divided with the PS4 console. Next July, the PlayStation 4 users will finally have access to the same EA subscription service, EA Access, which previously enjoyed the exclusive Microsoft console: Xbox One.

Through a statement, EA executive vice president of strategic growth, Matt Bilbey, commented that "As we continue to invest in digital and subscription services, bringing our games to more people on both consoles is an exciting opportunity for everyone." "Our goal is to give players more options to try and play our games anywhere and in any way they choose, and we are thrilled to bring the service to PlayStation 4.", continued Bilbey.

EA Access for PS4: price and benefits

To contract the EA Access service for PS4, users can have two types subscriptions: monthly and annual. The monthly subscription price will be $5 (equivalent to £4), while the the annual price subscription will be $ 30 (equivalent to £ 20).

The subscription to the EA Access service offers several benefits given that you have some savings in the first place and secondly, users will have access to a large number free EA titles. Among these titles to be available are Titanfall 2, Star Wars: Battlefront II and FIFA 18. Another benefit that PS4 users is that they will get a 10% discount on all EA digital games, in addition to their expansions as well as shopping within the games. However, the most noticeable benefit is EA Access's Play First Trials, through which you are allowed 10 hours of early access to all EA titles before its official release (that is, you would be among the first to play them).

Benefits EA Access: next available titles in the Play First Trials

Currently, the next scheduled title to which will be available is the Madden NFL 20. On the other hand, you should consider the other games that will be released in the near future, because they will probably be available through EA Access in some instant, some examples can be:

- The development of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn, and its release in November.
- Projects related to Titanfall.
- The annual EA Sports games such as: NHL, NBA Live and FIFA.

The original EA games are also required to enter the EA Access subscription service.

Even taking into account the problems that EA has presented these recent years, where there are the poor receptions for Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, the opening of EA Access to PS4 users is a good step for the company. The service itself represents a good offer for anyone who wants to have some savings at a retail level aimed at obtaining a wide EA library titles.
