Previously for users to get double XP points had to buy Mountain Dew and Doritos products, but things have changed a bit and now users will have to save chips that must be activated to get double XP in the game and this guide will give you the tools you need to know to carry out this process.

How to activate Double XP in Call of Duty Modern Warfare?

The first thing you'll need to do is buy one of the participating products for Modern Warfare, and review the code for that product. In the case of Mountain Dew they have codes on the inside of the lid, while Doritos have the code on the outside of the bag.

Once you have the code, you will have to go to the Dorito or Mountain Dew redemption websites where it will be redirected to the Call of Duty web potal, but you can also go directly to the Call of Duty web potal where you will log in and redeem the code(s).

If you enter the codes on the Activision website, they will be automatically synchronised with your profile, however, you will still have to redeem them in the game.

To activate Double XP you will have to run the game and go to the multiplayer menu and open the multiplayer lobby where you can see your available tokens on the right side of the screen and read the message "Available Tokens XP". If you press the L3 button you will see a menu on the left side of the screen where you can review how many different tokens you have and clicking on one will display a message that the token has been redeemed giving you the extra XP bonus.
