Knowing how to Set Abilities is one of the most necessary tasks to execute in Bravely Default 2 and here we tell you everything you need.

What should we know about skills in Bravely Default 2?

The amount of skills to choose from in this game is simply considerable, however, it is not possible to place all of them, we are somewhat limited, because even though there may be hundreds we cannot place all of them, as these skills can be achieved as we manage to climb level in our jobs, because in a way, it sounds reasonable the idea is to ensure that the characters have balanced skills, so that knowing how to establish skills simply allows us to handle ourselves with the necessary comfort without having overloaded them.

When we start this game we will normally have few skills, but as we progress and raise the level obviously we are getting skills, these are obtained from the work we manage to do, because the only requirement to establish a skill is to have unlocked it and get it to the character to whom we will place it at the appropriate level, for this it is interesting to take care of configuring the skills and for this it is necessary:

  • Go to the "Skills" tab in the menu.
  • Then proceed to click on L or R in order to change characters to set abilities.
  • Choose to choose the desired character and view the list of 5 slots in the lower left side.
  • We proceed to click on "A" in any of the slots to choose the unlocked ability that the character has.
  • There we will see the complete list of skills in the menu above on the right side.
  • Then we choose to move on the left side and then on the right side with the object of choosing a “Job” as well as the respective skill tree.
  • We proceed to click on "A" again to activate the ability for the character and that's it.

Once we manage to apply the ability, we must take a look at the list below on the left side where we will see a number on the right side of the ability, this indicates the cost of it, which determines how many slots this ability occupies, because here We will not see if we have 5 skills enabled if not a cost of 5.

Definitely, knowing How to Set Abilities is an interesting task that we can take advantage of in Bravely Default 2.
