Capcom, developer of Resident Evil(RE) 2 Remake, has officially announced that the title will have a demo for a limited time this week.

The lovers of the terrifying videogame can enjoy an intense preliminary experience of RE 2 before its release with a special demo that will start from this week.

The test phase of RE 2 Remake is called "1-Shot Demo". In it users must overcome a mission within Raccoon city, which will have to be completed in 30 minutes maximum. If the players complete the objective of the mission on time, they can restart the mission until they exhaust the full time. However, if they fail and they succumb to the zombies during their 30 minutes, they can continue any number of times until they complete it at the specified times. At the end of the demo, a new exclusive cinematic trailer is revealed for the participants of the demo.

In the demo the player will have to take the role of Leon S. Kennedy after arriving at the Raccoon City police station on the worst first day at work, since that station has been invaded by several zombies. Then the character must survive dangerous challenges filled with vicious zombies and solve riddles to find a safe passage outside the station as the clock progresses. So players must make sure they are killing more than just time. This demo will reach PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Steam and can be downloaded from this January 11 until January 31.

On the other hand we remind you that the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 25, which will allow us to relive one of the best horror adventures in history adapted to today.

This Capcom franchise is the most successful of all those that have come under the seal of the Japanese company during all these years with registered sales of more than 85 million copies of the game around the world.
