If you find yourself in the area and have taken the task of exploring the back of the house, you will notice that there is a large unit blocking the door. You can interact with the unit to move it, but it appears blocked on all sides, so you cannot move it to clear the entrance. If you head to the other side of the house, the chest is locked by a large wooden wall with spikes.

There is a gap at the top of the wall, but you will not be able to jump over it so ideally you should use fire to burn it. Hold down the D-Pad and select your flashlight. Once you have the torch equipped, look over the pointed wooden wall and throw the torch away. There are explosive canisters on the other side. If you throw the torch correctly, they will ignite and explode.

With this said you will know in Where to find the mountain chest near Fornburg in Assassin's Creed Valhalla so that you can open the door more quickly once you know what you have to do. Luck!
