To kill a ghost what you have to do is to illuminate it with a light source enough, as they need a lot of light to die. You will have to watch out for inanimate objects that you will encounter while doing so, as they will throw them at you while you are alive.

The key in these moments is to dodge if possible using a tree for cover or some other structure, which allows you to cover yourself and illuminate the ghost while it tries to attack you.

We recommend using flares and flashbangs to cause enough damage to the ghosts. Although it is always better to save the ghosts until the end of a fight, if you have the space to hide from their attacks.
