The publication of Super Nintendo Legends was announced by Game Press, the book that reviews the history of the 16-bit console. Thus, it includes texts from veterans of the video game press, such as Marcos García, Bruno Sol, Raúl Montón or Juan Carlos Sanz and several specialists in the retro sector, such as Carles García and Juan Carlos Caballero, among others.
In its pages are analyzed in detail 231 of the most outstanding Super Nintendo games, as well as a detailed review of the history of the console, prototypes, various models, support chips, peripherals, expansions, packs, advertising campaigns, magazines the time, and hundreds of curiosities.

All this accompanied by unpublished information on the disembarkation of the console in our country, by the hand of Jesus Moreno, former head of marketing at Nintendo Iberica, which describes those first steps of the old Nintendo Spain and its particular publicity war against Sega Spain.

Of course, this tribute extends to the true legends of the console, those of flesh and blood. Referents such as Shigeru Miyamoto, Masayuki Uemura and Koji Kondo, among many others, receive their deserved recognition here. Among them are Takashi Tokita, from Squaresoft, and Kouji Yokota, from Quintet, whose interviews shed light on the development of video games for the machine in Japan.

Super Nintendo Legends will be available in standard edition (only the book) for 32.95 euros and special edition called "The Brain of the Beast", a limited edition of 500 units that mimics the format of the box of a Super Nintendo game , with a case to store the book, a lithograph by Samus Aran and an instruction manual that can be converted into a 60cm x 42cm poster. The special edition costs 39.95 euros.

This volume will arrive on April 5, 2019 to the bookstores, but reserves have already been opened on the publisher's website. All reservations will be accompanied by additional presents: some cards ("GP Cards") from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, F-Zero, Super Metroid and Super Mario Kart, as well as a magnet with the cover illustration from the book.
