Gather these feathers and offer them to Fernfoot, the mysterious man in the forest. You can increase your inventory space by trading your Fabled Feathers with Fernfoot. We advise prioritizing enlarging your bag before he unlocks more skill slots, though.
When you cross the bridge that leads east out of Brightoak, you'll see Fernfoot lounging outside his cottage. If you want to find him, you have to go to Brightoak and then go to the Old Forest via the bridge on the right. How to Expand Inventory in Mirthwood
Visit Fernfoot at his cottage and converse with him to augment your inventory. Push the Expand Inventory button. After that, you'll be able to select the part of your bag you want to enlarge. There are six distinct parts to your bag:
Tools, Armor, Food, Materials, Components, and Concoctions. To enlarge a certain pocket, choose it and then give eight Fabled Feathers to make it bigger. This will extend the length of your bag by one row in that area.
Your playstyle and preferences will determine which parts of your bag you should prioritize expanding, although the Food and Materials sections are good places to start. In Mirthwood, you gnaw on food at a rapid pace, and it can be disastrous if you run out. Furthermore, gathering materials is crucial for making things. It would be wise to begin with those sections of your backpack.
