The first thing you have to consider is that this door is designed to be built into a naturally generated cave wall made of smooth stone so that it is not disturbed from the outside.

You will need to use adhesive pistons to push stone blocks in front of the entrance when it is active, and spread them apart to pass through when it is off. Two of the inward facing pistons face each other from four blocks away and the head of the piston, pushes against one of the four stone blocks forming the doorway, with a pair of blocks lined up on the sides.


You will need to use a redstone strip that lines up from the top of the piston stacks on both sides and connects the two sides of the door through the floor.

When the cable has the power current, all four pistons will push at the same time and the door will close.

To bring the power to the door you can use levers which you will have to move. Place one on either side of the door to open it from the outside and close it from the inside. This would be very easy, but it would damage that secret part that makes this door special. So we recommend that you hide the external lever from other players somehow.

As the cable extends underground, you will have to place the lever next to a redstone segment to connect it to the circuit. This will allow you to hide the lever underground.
