Now that Metroid Dread has just been released, nobody wants to lose their progress, so here we will tell you how to save your game.

What is Metroid Dread about?

It is an action-adventure video game, belonging to the Metroid series. It has been developed by MercurySteam and Nintendo EPD, and published by Nintendo exclusively for Nintendo Switch users. As in any game, recording progress is important to not lose everything we have advanced while playing, so read on if you want to know how to avoid surprises by not saving.

How to save your game in Metroid Dread?

The first thing you have to do is to go to one of the "Save Station" rooms that you can find along the many corridors and paths of the game. These rooms have a platform in the middle, along with several rings floating behind it.

You can easily find these rooms, as they are shown on the map as "Storage Station", which are listed below the percentage of collected items.

When you reach a station all you have to do is stand on the platform in the center of the room until you see the "Save game" option in a pop-up window. Simply press the corresponding button to confirm and save. You will know that the save process is complete after an animation of Samus being scanned ends.

Note that this is the only way to record progress in the game, as the game has no autosave. So you will always have to remember to save before exiting the game to avoid losing the progress you have obtained in the journey.

This is the end of this guide on how to save your game in Metroid Dread, and now that we have reached this point, we hope that the developers will consider automatic saving at some point, in the meantime, always remember to save manually so you don't have to go back.
