What is Mario Golf Super Rush?

This is the new sports video game developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo exclusively for Nintendo Switch users as the seventh game in the Mario Golf series. The video game has just been released and is already available from June 25, 2021.

How to play online?

The first thing you need to know about playing online is that the game's local multiplayer is available in several game types. The first thing you need to do to access it is to head to the main menu > choose Play Golf, where you will find four options, standard golf, speed golf, battle golf and network play.

Play Golf allows play between one and four controllers, so you have to choose those who want to play, so you can play with one Joy-Con passing it around. You could also have two at a time in case you want split-screen play.

Speed Golf and Battle Golf only offer the latter option with split-screen, this due to the simultaneous nature of the modes, so you can only have up to two players with separate Joy-Cons.

Local play will allow you to play with your friends locally as the name suggests, everyone has separate Nintendo Switch systems for Mario Golf Super Rush, but you can select one or two players, as two can share a screen. Regardless of this, you'll need to set up the match with your personal settings in order to access the multiplayer mode.
