How to call an audible in Madden 22?

In case you need to change the formation you will have to press the Square or X button, either on offense or defense > this will allow you to access various plays that you can call at the bottom right of the screen. To do this you will have to press the button indicated to the left of the play.

Additionally, you will be able to modify the play you are in by using the right joystick, as you can tell your defensive backs to press the opposing receiver or drop back as needed.

Initially after pressing the Square or X button to play a sound, you will only see a few plays selected. This is because the default screen only shows plays of the same formation as the one you currently have. But you can view plays from different formations by pressing left or right in the left pane.

If you want to change the route of any receiver, instead of the whole play, you will have to press the Triangle or Y button.

One last note: if you are trying to change the route of a particular receiver, but not the whole play, press Y.
