How to Unlock the Gate at The Blue Spruce Bar in Lost Records Bloom & Rage

In Tape 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Swann and her friends are preparing for an illegal concert at the Blue Spruce bar. To do this, they need to unlock the gate and restore power. Here's a comprehensive guide:

Lost Records Bloom & Rage: the Gate at The Blue Spruce Bar

Unlocking the Blue Spruce Bar Gate:

There are multiple ways to unlock the gate, allowing players to choose their approach:

Calling Dylan (Payphone):

• Use the payphone to call Dylan.
• She can provide the gate code.

Breaking the Lock:

• Search the dumpsters near the gate.
• Move the piece of cardboard to find a fire extinguisher.
• Use the fire extinguisher to break the lock.

Finding the Code (Corey's Bike):

• Locate Corey's bike parked near the gate.
• Examine the bag on the bike.
• Find the pager inside the bag and examine it.
• Flip the pager to reveal the code, which is a sequence of directional arrows: UP, RIGHT, LEFT, UP, DOWN.
• Enter this code into the padlock to unlock the gate.

Restoring Power (Tape 1, Scene 24 - "Riot Girrrls"):

After unlocking the gate, the group needs to restore power for the concert. Follow these steps:

Enter the Storage Closet:

• Proceed to the door at the corner of the building, leading to the storage closet.
• Inside, attempt to flip the power switch near the door.
• Discover that the power is out.

Find the Extension Cord:

• Examine the outlet directly in front of you; it requires an extension cord.
• Exit to the backyard and go around the corner, near the boat on the trailer.
• Locate the extension cord inside one of the crates.
• Use the camcorder's flashlight to see in the dark.

Plug in the Cord:

• Return to the storage closet and plug the extension cord into the outlet.

Find the Missing Fuses:

• After Kat's interaction and Autumn's shout, inspect the breaker panel next to the outlet.
• Open the panel and see that two fuses are missing.
• Use the camcorder's flashlight to locate the fuses in the same room.
• One fuse is on the floor to the left.
• The other fuse is on the shelf to the right, next to a red gas canister.

Insert the Fuses:

• Return to the breaker panel and insert the fuses. The positions do not matter.

Restore Power:

• Flip the switches in the following order:
  • Top left
  • Top right
  • Right switch in the second row
  • Bottom left
  • Left switch in the second row
  • Right switch in the second row

After Restoring Power:

• The power will be restored, and the story will continue.
• You then will place Bloom and Rage stickers around the area.
• The concert will then begin.
