Crafting an Epic Pickaxe in LEGO Fortnite
However, in case you want to start farming Rift Shards, then you need an Epic Pickaxe, so you have to make it in an Epic Crafting Bench. That involves a lot of time and resources to be invested.
- Obsidian Slabs: The first task you are going to face is getting the Obsidian. This valuable material can be found only in Lava Caves and requires at least a Rare Pickaxe to extract it. Once mined, you will have to turn the Obsidian into Obsidian Slabs using a Stone Breaker machine. That Stone Breaker itself, after all, requires quite a large investment of 25 Knotroot and 35 Marble.
- Now, the Frostpine Rods come second. To get Frostpine, you'll have to wander the cold Frostlands biome armed with an Epic Forest Axe. You need to make this axe from 3 Copper Bars and 3 Knotroot Rods; this axe is used for chopping down Frostpine trees. The logs obtained from the Frostpine trees are then turned into rods at a Lumber Mill.
Now that you have 8 Obsidian Slabs and 5 Frostpine Rods in your inventory, you can finally make an Epic Pickaxe at the Epic Crafting Bench.
Tips
- You will need to have a Rare Pickaxe active for this process. This you can create at a Rare Crafting Bench, needing 3 Flexwood and 3 Sand Claws.
- Creation of an Epic Pickaxe is full of danger. At least until then, you may want to gear up on some formidable weaponry, like Star Wars Blasters, just in case someone gets too close.
By following these steps and exercising caution, you'll be well-prepared to embark on Get Rift Shards in LEGO Fortnite.
