Hot off the press, the Lost Isles update has just arrived for LEGO Fortnite. This is a massive update that brings in a host of new content: from the completely new area in the Lost Isles, accessible via the Battle Bus Station, to many special locations within, like the Pirate Towns. Of course, the most exciting thing is the return of Klombo.
Klombo returns for the first time since his debut in Chapter 3 Season 1 and will be roaming the Lost Isles in both his Battle Royale and LEGO forms. LEGO Klombo is tamable and rideable for the first time, offering up a silly and new way to travel across the island. Just remember: you wouldn't want to make Klombo angry.
Klombo will be tamed only when players approach him very carefully and feed him with some of his favorite treats, such as apples and bananas. Once it gets docile, players can interact with him to tame him. Once tamed, Klombo can be ridden; it will provide fast and efficient means of transportation.

How to Find Klombo in LEGO Fortnite?
A Klombo is a gentle giant of the Jungle biome. They are peaceful enough to see, with huge forms covered in bright foliage and exotic flora, which always amazes any player who sees them. Although they can roam anywhere within the lush greenery, players often find them near serene lagoons, which are where they drink crystal-clear waters or bask in the warm sunlight. Furthermore, these grand creatures do wander into the Plains biome, so it can be relatively easy for adventurers to cross with them, even on the earliest expeditions.
Klombo is a specific character who resides only in the Jungle biomes and spends most of his time in the lagoons. These serene bodies of water are sometimes recognized by players because Klombo statues have been placed in them. Compared to the highly mobile LEGO Klombos roaming around the map, this particular Klombo is a creature of habit and loves being in his aquatic comfort zone.
Klombo will rise out of the lagoon when approached by any player-a gentle giant, ready to be interacted with. One can satiate his hunger with a selection of fruits, like Klomberries, Bananas, and Pineapples. In turn, Klombo gives players handsome rewards with a selection of prized resources, the quality ranging from putrid Stink Glands to strong Mahogany.
Klombo does not attack and is not aggressive, though. When players leave or attempt to inflict damage on him, he backs off deeper into the lagoon for cover in the waters.
First, LEGO Klombo can be domesticated by using Klomberries-special fruits that can be found on the ground everywhere in Lost Isles, especially in the Plains and Jungle biomes. They can also be grown in a Dirt Plot by planting Klomberry Seeds. Once this is available, players shall feed a Klomberry to a LEGO Klombo. In such a way, the creature will be tamed and thus can be ridden upon interaction with it.
When the players are seated upon a Klombo, they can use the following controls that come with some advantages. These are listed as:
- Dismount: Dismount from the Klombo in safety.
- Vacuum: Some items near the vacuum get sucked up towards the Klombo and feed the health of Klombo besides giving extra resources.
- Launch: This leaps into the air and deploys your glider for further movement. This skill would be very much helpful if you want to reach any elevated height or cross bigger distances.
- Charge: Sprint, damaging enemies, destroying structures. This will cost some stamina and hence must be used judiciously.
While taming a Klombo is easy, keeping a Klombo close to the player requires many steps of careful attention. When the Klombo runs out of stamina from riding or any activity, the player gets dismounted and has to tame it over again. Moreover, making the Klombo angry-for example, hitting it, feeding it the wrong kind of food-may get the player untamed.
In order to not overexert the creature and to feed it regularly, players can secure a lifelong friendship with their Klombo. The surest way to make a powerful alliance which shall help them in their adventure through the Lost Isles is by treating the Klombo with tenderness and respect.
Klombos are usually gentle giants, but they become terrifying opponents once enraged. Continuous attacks by the players or aggressive mobs will enrage these creatures, making them terrifying. They will become powerful enough that with a single charging attack, they can give heavy damage. In addition to this, they have the ability to launch projectiles of acid on targets that may be quite far from them, and it leaves a toxic cloud hanging in the air.
This would need to be placated with some Klomberries, the only treats known to take the edge off from its rage and return it to docile state. Or, one simply practices patience, knowing the anger of the Klombo will dissipate with time. But waiting too long might sometimes be unwise considering a raging Klombo-a messy monster-will be very dangerous for players and wild life alike. It is, therefore, better to pacify an angry Klombo as soon as possible, so that unnecessary conflict could be avoided.
