After turning on the gateway, the player will be able to fight the Storm King-but it will take some real hours and effort beforehand. Here is how the Tempest Gateway can be upgraded in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey.

How To Power Up The Tempest Gateway in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey?

After the Storm Chasers update, once players load into their world, they can talk to Kayden to learn about how to upgrade the Storm Chaser Base Camp to Level 9, which is required to access the Tempest Gateway.

The improved compass, which shows on the map where storms and the Tempest Gateway are, is unlocked after talking to Dr. Borrasca once Base Camp has reached level 6. However, players can't power up the Tempest Gateway until they improve the camp to level 9.

Getting the Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 9 is easy as pie if you follow this simple guide:

Level 3

Craft a Rare Crossbow.
Build a Rune Forge.
Apply a Rune to any Weapon.
Defeat 3 Storm Acolytes.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 3.

Level 4

Complete a Vehicle Build.
Collect 20 Metal.
Build an Oven.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 4.

Level 5

Enter a Storm.
Harvest 5 Storm Bud Plants.
Collect 10 Storm Fruit.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 5.

Level 6

Gather 5 Durastell.
Retrieve your Compass Upgrade.
Craft 3 Meat Pies.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 6.

Level 7

Craft an Epic Sword.
Obtain 10 Greater Storm Cores.
Enter a Storm Cave.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 7.

Level 8

Utilize 3 Storm Geysers.
Defeat 5 Storm Rollers.
Investigate the dormant Tempest Gateway.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 8.

Level 9

Locate Raven's Hideout.
Defeat Raven.
Collect 10 Eyes of the Storm.
Increase Village Comfort to Level 9.

Raven: How to Beat

Once the Storm Chaser Base Camp has been leveled up to 7, players will be tasked with investigating the Tempest Gateway, but they will not be able to activate it. Instead, to upgrade the camp from Level 8 to Level 9, players will need to find Raven's Hideout and defeat Raven.

It is necessary to reach Level 8 to upgrade the Storm Chaser Base Camp, although speedrunners often attempt to skip this part. After the improved compass is given by Dr. Borrasca, the player will see where in the Grasslands Raven's Hideout is on their map. Once the hideout is reached, players will see a fissure inside that leads to a dungeon.

In this dungeon, players will find Raven outside of a building that resembles the hideout they initially entered. Raven is a formidable opponent but ultimately should pose no challenge to players equipped with high-rarity Swords, Shields, or even Crossbows.

Defeating Raven will yield three Eyes of the Storm. In the building adjacent to where Raven was located, there is a chest that spawns with three more.

Ways to Obtain Ten Storm Eyes To do this, the player needs ten Eyes of the Storm. Aside from the ones obtained from defeating Raven, a player can get three more from Carl Ruckus in the Storm Chaser Base Camp once they've upgraded it to Level 5. However, if they need more, players will need to head into Storm Dungeons.

The entrances to such dungeons are now available for the player on their map, thanks to the upgraded compass, which are rifts in the very heart of storm biomes.

A second rift lies directly ahead of the first in each Storm Dungeon, which the players enter. This gap will only open if the three Storm Crystals that are scattered about the cave are destroyed. Through the now-open rift, players enter a lower level of the dungeon.

Here, they must overcome hordes of foes and destroy spawners in order to reach treasure and another entrance to the dungeon. These storm foes can drop an Eye of the Storm from time to time. If players do not get good luck, they can proceed further into the dungeon by destroying three crystals opening another rift, which leads to another wave of foes. Eyes of the Storm, and other rewards like Rift Crystals, are more likely to be obtained at this deeper level.

Once players have collected 10 Eyes of the Storm, they will be able to upgrade their Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 9, at which point they will be able to activate the Tempest Gateway.

The storm can be entered by gathering Storm Fruit Nectar and a Storm Charm. By doing this, they will have a longer period of time staying in the storm.

Tempest Gateway Power-Up Procedures

Once players have defeated Raven and updated their Storm Chaser Base Camp to Level 9, they can head toward the Tempest Gateway, indicated on their maps by the Storm King icon. The gateway is positioned in the middle of a storm biome, atop a mountain.

The players should progress and be able to come into contact with the Tempest Gateway, powering it up using their 10 Eyes of the Storm. The doorway opens after players do that. Interact with it again, and players will end up in the Storm King's lair with a possibility to defeat him.

Players will have an hour to utilize the Tempest Gateway in order to engage the Storm King boss fight once powered up. At the end of each day, players will be able to face off against a respawned Storm King and Raven.
