Inzoi, the newly released life simulation game, offers players a deep level of customization, from crafting unique Zois to fostering relationships within the virtual city. One of the most compelling features is the ability to form and edit families, allowing you to shape the social dynamics of your created world. As your Zois navigate their daily lives, relationships will naturally begin to form. At this point, you might want to step in and orchestrate changes to how these Zois interact, creating or modifying familial bonds according to your vision.This guide will walk you through the straightforward process of creating new families and editing existing ones in Inzoi.

Inzoi: How to create families

Creating a new family unit in Inzoi is done through the game's "Edit City" interface. Follow these steps to establish your first (or next) household:

Enter Edit City: Begin by pressing the 'M' key on your keyboard. This will transition you to the Edit City mode, where you have an overview of your virtual world and its inhabitants.

Access Manage Family: Within the Edit City interface, locate and click on the "Manage Family" option. This will open a dedicated screen for handling family structures.

Select 'All Families': On the "Manage Family" screen, choose the 'All Families' option. This will display a list of all existing families and available housing. Notably, empty houses that are available for Zois to move into will be indicated by an arrow icon and will appear grey in color.

Create a New Family: To initiate the creation of a new family unit, select the 'Create A New Family' option, which you will find on the 'All Families' page.

Utilize Character Creator: This selection will transport you to the familiar 'Character Creator' interface. Here, you can leverage the provided presets and fully customize the appearance and attributes of each Zoi that you intend to be part of this new family. Take your time to style each character according to your preferences and the familial roles you envision.

Return to 'All Families': Once you have finished creating all the Zois who will comprise the new family, navigate back to the 'All Families' page. You will now see the newly created Zois ready for selection.

Allot a House: Choose one of the grey houses (the empty ones with the arrow icon) to assign as the residence for your newly formed family. Click on the desired house and then confirm your selection to move the Zois into their new home.

Family Ready: Congratulations! Your new family is now established and ready to begin their lives and interactions within the Inzoi city.

How to Edit Families in Inzoi:

Inzoi also provides the flexibility tomodify existing family structures, allowing you to move Zois betweenhouseholds and even merge families. Here's how to edit the familialdynamics in your game:

Access City Map via Smartphone: Use your in-game smartphone to navigate to the 'City Map' screen. This provides an overview of the city and its inhabitants.

Open 'All Families': On the 'City Map' screen, locate and click the 'All Families' button, typically found in the top left corner of the interface. Thiswill again display the list of all families and their members.

Select 'Move Zois Between Families': From the 'All Families' screen, choose the option labeled 'Move Zois Between Families'. This will open a new interface designed for transferring Zois between households.

Choose Zois to Move:Within the 'Move Zois Between Families' interface, you can select anytwo Zois that you wish to relocate. Click on the Zoi you want to moveand then click on the Zoi or the empty house in the destination family.

Regarding Deleting Characters: It's important to note that Inzoi currently does not have a direct option to delete characters. The only in-game method to permanently remove a Zoi from your city is to have them meet an untimely end.

Alternative to Deletion: If you prefer not to eliminate a Zoi, you can effectively remove them from active gameplay by moving them to another family that you are not actively using. This allows the character to exist within the game world without being part of your immediate focus.

Maintaining Identity: When you shift a Zoi to a new family using the 'Move Zois Between Families' option, their core identity and last name will remain unchanged. This ensures continuity within the game world.

Merging Households: The 'Move Zois Between Families' option can also be used to merge two separate households. By moving Zois from one family into the house of another, you caneffectively combine their living arrangements. This is particularlyuseful for establishing cohabitation between partners who have formedromantic relationships within the game.
