How to Set Keyman Lockdown in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road

Before you can command your players to neutralize the opposing team's star, you must first acquire the Keyman Lockdown tactic manual. To find it, travel to the Friendly Match marker located west of the Football Club Room at South Cirrus Junior High.Interacting with this marker will give you the option to enter the Special Training Booth. Once inside, navigate to the "Tactics" tab where you can exchange three of your hard-earned Zeal tokens to permanently add Keyman Lockdown to your strategic arsenal.

Assigning Keyman Lockdown to Your Team

Purchasing the tactic is only the first step. To make it available during a match, you must assign it to your team's tactical slots.

Open the main menu and select the "Team Dock" tab.

In the bottom-left corner, you will see an option labeled "Team Dock RPG." Press the corresponding input button next to it to switch to the "Team Dock SO" menu. This is where you manage your active match tactics.

Here, you will see empty slots beneath your manager's portrait. Select an available slot and choose Keyman Lockdown from your list of owned tactics to equip it. Your team is now prepared to execute this game-changing maneuver.

Executing Keyman Lockdown in a Match

The true test comes on the pitch. Using Keyman Lockdown requires precise timing and input, with the process differing significantly between control schemes.

For Controller Users:

Initiate: Hold down the L1 (PlayStation) / LB (Xbox) button to bring up your radial tactics menu.

Select: Press the button corresponding to Keyman Lockdown, which is typically Triangle / Y.

Aim: An orange targeting ring will appear on the field. Use your left joystick to guide this ring over your intended target—the opponent's key player.

Execute: Once the opponent is highlighted within the ring, press the Confirm button to trigger the lockdown. Your player will immediately move to mark and neutralize that threat.

For Keyboard & Mouse Users (Important Note):

Players using a keyboard and mouse may encounter a significant bug when tryingto aim the Keyman Lockdown. While you can start the tactic by holding Tab and pressing the correct key, the orange targeting ring often cannot be moved with the mouse or keyboard keys.

Current Workarounds:

• Point-Blank Activation: The most reliable method is to initiate the Keyman Lockdown only whenyour controlling player is standing directly on top of the target. Thissometimes allows the game to auto-confirm the lock without needing toaim.
• Controller Emulation: For a full-featured solution, consider using software to create avirtual controller. This allows you to emulate gamepad inputs, bypassing the keyboard and mouse bug entirely.

By following these steps, you can successfully integrate the powerfulKeyman Lockdown into your strategy, giving you a crucial defensiveadvantage against the toughest opponents in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road.
