Gear are magical items that you obtain throughout the game. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be used for a variety of purposes. However, you can only carry a limited amount of gear items in your inventory. Therefore, you may find yourself in need of selling some of your gear in order to make room for other items. Selling your gear is the perfect way to make some extra Galleons and to save up for future purchases. 

Hogsmeade is the shopping and entertainment district of the wizarding world. You can find a variety of shops, taverns and other businesses located throughout the town. Look for the sign of a stack of Galleons as this will indicate if a shop owner is willing to buy or sell your gear. When you locate a shop, you will be able to talk to the shop owner and access the sell menu. 

Gear comes in different rarity levels, ranging from green to orange. Green items are the least valuable, while orange items are the most expensive. Depending on the rarity of the item, you will receive a different price. On PlayStation, press X to sell the item, and on Xbox, press A. Once you have confirmed the sale, the Galleons will be immediately deposited into your inventory. Make sure to save up your earnings for future purchases!
