The Lower Hogsfield Treasure Vault is a hidden chamber located deep below the castle. It is filled with ancient artifacts and magical items, not to mention a hefty amount of gold and other valuable items. 

What do you need to open the Vault? 



To open the vault, you'll need to use the spell Accio. Equip Accio as one of your spells so that it is readily available.

Preparation

  •  Unlock the Spell Accio 
Accio is the spell you'll need to unlock the vault. To obtain it, you'll need to unlock the Spelling Mastery skill tree. This can be done by completing various tasks throughout the game.

  •  Equip Accio as one of Your Spells 
Once you have unlocked the Spelling Mastery skill tree, equip Accio as one of your spells so that it is readily available.

 Location 
  •  Go South from Hogwarts Castle 
Head south from Hogwarts Castle to the location on the map below. You will find a switch nearby.

  •  Find the Switch 
The switch you need to access the vault is located south of Hogwarts Castle.

 Accessing the Vault 
  • Cast Revelio to Find the Treasure Vault
Once you have reached the switch, cast the spell Revelio. You will find a Treasure Vault beneath.

  •  Look for the Cube 
Look top right to find a cube. This is the key to unlocking the vault.

  •  Use Accio to Pull the Cube to Yourself 
Use the Accio spell to pull the cube to yourself.

 Opening the Chest 
  • Move Forward 
Move forward and take the cube with you. This will lower the floor and allow you to open the chest.

  • Take the Cube 
Take the cube with you to lower the floor.

  •  Lower the Floor 
Lower the floor to allow you to open the chest.

  • Open the Chest 
Open the chest to reveal its treasures.

Descend the set of stairs and you will reach an empty room. Cast Revelio and you will find a Treasure Vault beneath. Look top right to find a cube. Use Accio to pull the cube to you. Finally, move forward and take the cube with you to lower the floor, allowing you to open the Chest.
