Hogwarts Legacy door puzzles are a way to prevent players from accessing certain areas of the castle. The puzzles involve solving a combination of animal symbols and numbers. Each door has two triangles and a corresponding panel with either one or two question marks. The panels must be changed to the animal that completes the equation. To open the animal symbol doors, players must use addition to determine which animal symbol corresponds to the numbers on the triangles. If the sum of the values on the triangles matches the value in the center of the door, the door will open.
