What is the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy?

The Hospital Wing is the part of Hogwarts Castle that serves as the medical facility for magical creatures and students. It is a place of healing and refuge, presided over by Madam Pomfrey. It also includes a library, a potions classroom and a room with a bed for those recovering from illness or injury.

Why do you need to go there?

Visiting the Hospital Wing is necessary to complete certain quests in the game. In order to complete the Caretaker's Lunar Lament quest, for example, you must find and defeat a creature that is hiding in the Hospital Wing.

Unlocking the Hospital Wing

The first step in getting to the Hospital Wing is to speak with Gladwin Moon and start the Caretaker's Lunar Lament quest. Doing so will teach you the Alohomora charm, which is a spell used for picking locks. After learning this charm, you must use it to unlock the door to the enclosed area that leads to the Hospital Wing. You must also use the Disillusionment charm and the Invisibility charm to avoid being seen by students and professors while making your way through the hallways to the Wing.

Get Past the Students and Professors

Once you have unlocked the door to the enclosed area, you must remain undetected while making your way to the Hospital Wing. To do this, make sure to keep your Disillusionment and Invisibility charms active. Then, take the stairs to your right and be sure to pass Professor Weasly and Professor Sharp without being seen. When you reach the top of the stairs, you will arrive at the Hospital Wing.

Getting to the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy is not a particularly difficult task, but it does require you to use a few spells and charms. To begin your journey, you must speak to Gladwin Moon and start the Caretaker's Lunar Lament quest.
