Helldivers 2: How to Get New Guns
Warbonds: Your Primary Arsenal Expansion:
The Acquisitions Center, accessible from your ship (R/Square/X), is where you'll find the Warbonds tab. Warbonds are like battle passes, offering a progression of unlockable items, including weapons.2
1. Helldivers Mobilize! Warbond (Free):
This is the default Warbond available to all players at launch. It contains 10 pages of unlockable items, including:

2. Steeled Veterans Warbond (Premium):
This Warbond is included in the Super Citizen Edition of Helldivers 2.3 Unlocking items here requires spending Super Credits, the game's
premium currency (which can also be earned for free). It includes:
- Primary Weapons:
- BR-1 Burst Rifle
- SG-225 Breaker
- LAS-5 Scythe
- R-201 Stalwart
- CB-9 Exploder
- EAT-17
- RS-42 Twinfang
Unlocking Support Weapons (Requisitions):
Heavy weaponry, like the Anti-Materiel Rifle and Recoilless Rifle, are
unlocked through the requisitions terminal on your ship (near the
Helldiver cryo pod bay). These are purchased with Requisition, earned
from completing missions. Support Weapons at launch include:

Farming Medals and Super Credits:
You'll need both Medals and Super Credits to unlock weapons.
Medals: Earned through
natural gameplay. Completing "Evacuate High-Value Assets" missions is a recommended farming method, especially on higher difficulties. Bring
turrets and anti-armor weaponry.
Super Credits: Earned
through natural gameplay. Exploring Points of Interest (POIs, marked by
diamond icons) is the best way to farm Super Credits. Each POI has a
chance to contain Super Credits (up to 100 per POI, rarely). City maps
(often attacked by Illuminate forces) are ideal for farming due to their layouts with clustered POIs and flatter terrain. Use a jump pack and
Fast Recon Vehicle for faster farming.
Key Strategies for Efficient Unlocks:
- Prioritize POIs: Explore as many POIs as possible during missions to maximize your Super Credit gains.
- Farm "Evacuate High-Value Assets": This mission type is efficient for farming Medals.
- City Maps for Super Credits: Focus on city maps for easier and faster POI exploration.
- Use Jump Pack and Vehicle: These tools greatly improve your speed and efficiency when farming.
By understanding the Warbond system and utilizing efficient farming
strategies, you can quickly expand your arsenal and equip yourself with
the best tools for liberating Super Earth in Helldivers 2.
