The first thing you have to know about how to complete the treasure hunt is that this treasure hunt can only be done once, and it should be quite clear when it is beginning.

The search starts when you receive an email message on your phone from the address "vanderlinde@eyefind.com". The email contains a black and white image with the following message "Use the photo in this email to identify the location of the treasure." The shovel is located in the shattered skeleton of a house on the beach of Sandy Shores, near the "Alamo Sea" lake next to a green armchair. Approach the shovel and press right on the D-Pad to investigate and pick up the second track.

This track can be found in Tongva Hills, on the west side of the map. Find the cave that is near the cliff and inside you can find the body. Approach the corpse and press right on the D-Pad to investigate and pick up the third and final clue.

The clues will take you to the caravan where you will realize that all the family owners of the treasure killed each other before you got there and you will also realize that the treasure is in a wooden box on the caravan's head. Approach the box and press right on the D-Pad to investigate and finally collect the treasure.

Your reward will be a double action golden revolver and also a new challenge with a bigger reward in which you will have to get 50 photos with that revolver and you will get 250,000 dollars for GTA Online and the exclusive golden variant of the weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2,
