This is one of the four missions that make up The Crane Returns to the Wild, specifically the third one in which you will have to find two minerals, Starsplinter Iron and Subrosium.

After starting the quest you will reach Mount Tianheng with Shenhe and Yun Jin, where you will have to search for Starsplinter Iron using Visions, so you will have to activate Elemental Sight.

On the minimap there will be an arrow that will take you to the location of the Starsplinter irons, with which you will have to interact. Collect both to complete this part of the mission. After this you will be taken to Shenhe's ancient hometown, to meet Uncle Mingjun, who will tell you that you can find clues about Subrosium in the village.

You will need to interact with the records the mission points to, to learn about Shenhe's backstory and how to obtain Subrosium.

After talking to Mingjun and Shenhe, you'll need to head to the lake in the middle of Mount Tianheng, where you'll need to change the time to 17:30 to indicate that Subrosium will appear near the mission marker, so pick one to complete the last part of the mission.
