The video starts showing the beautiful landscape of Santa Monica.
Afterwards, he concentrates fully on the company, giving details about his visions and objectives. First, recruiter Annie Lohr opens by describing the company's anniversary as "abhorrent", while thereafter the leader of the new studio The Initiative, Darrell Gallagher (of Square Enix and Activision), mentions that the location of the company bet on the attraction of talent belonging to other industries nearby, such as "television, entertainment and music."

• William Archbell (Riot Games and 343 Industries) as the technical director.
• Blake Fischer (from Xbox) as the director of world and narrative.
• Daniel Neuburger, (of Rise of the Tomb Rider) as game director.
Among other hiring that are considered as outstanding, although they were not shown in the video, they are the writer and designer Red Dead Redemption 1Christian Cantamessa , as well as Rockstar Games Tom Shepherd.
On the other hand, on the official website belonging to The Initiative Studio, you can see the remaining vacancies, corresponding to disciplines of Art, Design, Engineering, Production and Operations taking into account this, The Initiative project is still a stage very early in its development.
Based on everything mentioned and shown both on the official website and the hype videoof the new "Xbox studio" as The Initiative is, we can consider that it still has a long way to go, and although many clear points were left (like its objectives , mission and vision), there were still others in ambiguity (like their expansion plans); we can only wait to see if the development of this fascinating project will be successful for Microsoft.
