PlayStation VR takes the crown of the best-selling virtual reality device in 2018 - Ultimate Guide

It could be said that 2018 has been the year for video games in which virtual reality has taken center stage.


Oculus Rift has driven virtual reality after years being only a minority technology, despite this, almost all the major companies in the sector showed their interest in the market, especially in the face of the nearest future.



Sony for its part has closed the year being a leader in this sector selling more than three million units, a figure that showed the good reception that had the device among the owners of PlayStation 4, being crowned as the most sold this year, above the main driver of the Oculus Rift technology, leaving it in second with 1.1 million units sold and Samsung Gear VR in third place with 600,000 units, respectively.




Recently, Sony announced the PlayStation VR Mega Pack that includes the following games: ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission, The Elders Scroll V: Skyrim VR, WipEout Omega Collection, PlayStation VR Worlds and DOOM VFR.
