The developers of Left 4 Dead and Evolve Turtle Rock Studios, announced that they were working on the creation of a zombie shooting game which would be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

The name of the zombie game is Back 4 Blood, and they say it will be based on the story of Turtle Rock to make a zombie shooting game, and they are expected to implement a lot of new technological features.

The study recently announced some additional details, without getting to the issue of launch date or integrated purchases within the game.

They said that Back 4 Blood is a new original IP not related to Left 4 Dead, it will have a campaign and a PVP, but it is not a real battle.

Phil Robb, who is the creative director of the new project, said that the study is growing his team and that they were using the lessons and processes previously learned to make this new project, a fairly perfected one.

On the other hand, Chris Ashton, project design director said that they had in mind this project for some time saying:

Evolve borrowed some L4D ideas from Left 4 Dead and added a quito player as an asynchronous monster. He received a positive reception and won a respectable audience, but Turtle Rock stopped actively developing it in 2016.
