Intel Optane H10 memory available in laptop - Ultimate Guide
Intel introduced a new type of solid state hybrid storage that integrates two of its main technologies. The first one is Optane as a whole of QLC NAND at CES this year. The final product was called Optane Memory H10, the company invested enough time last week to finish several of the large details. These technologies are intended for the major brands of laptops, Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, and others. Unfortunately Intel also reported that they have no intention of introducing the product to the DIY market.
Optane Memory H10, comes to the market presenting a fairly fast front-end for the caching of frequently used data and the rest of QLC NAND provides a less rapid storage support for the storage of data of less frequent use. Another peculiarity is that the QLC NAND has one of the fastest segments of the SLC memory used for its own caching, which allows Intel to see the logical data progression as Optane - SLC - QLC.
Despite all the bullishness the reality is that there is very little innovation in this project. That is, the Optane part of 16GB or 32GB is equal to the Optane-only model that is on the market. And the QLC NAND is compatible with the budget of 660p NVMe with another name. The product is only one of the two components that basically already existed, and will be a memory for laptops with a single M.2 slot.

Regarding numbers the new product of the company has proposed to have a maximum sequential performance of 2,400 MB / s of reading and 1,800 MHz of writing, which exceeds what the link x2 can attend.
Optane Memory H10 requires a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface for the host system.
Intel also mentions the maximum 4K read and write speeds with a tail depth of thirty-two simultaneous users, and works in the best way. The creators of Optane Memory H10 made an analysis where to solve the real depth of the queue for users' workloads.

The company also explains about the superiority with respect to performance compared to other NVMe units.
The Optane H10, is not an economic technology to produce since they accumulate 32GB in a QLC unit of 512GB, so it is likely that its operation in the market is high cost, without expecting that the prices remain under control.
