Video games began selling millions of units in the late 80s, brands and advertisers discovered, a world to exploit. We can say that from that moment some games began to show publicity. Video games have served as support for different companies to show their logo or their products, where the characters wear shirts, or some bright street sign in a game, this created for promotional purposes, such as McDonald's Global Gladiators, a title of Virgin and SEGA with an environmental background, sponsored by the famous fast food chain and that, interestingly, was chosen as Game of the Year in 1992.
