How to Get Into the Train Vault in Fortnite
In Fortnite, hidden treasures await within the secret room at Outlaw Oasis, offering players access to some of the most coveted weapons in the game. Additionally, the vault on the train is laden with chests and exclusive Dill Bits, a currency exchangeable at Black Markets. This comprehensive guide will walk players through accessing the Train Vault.
Fortnite: How to Get Into the Train Vault
The train continuously traverses the island during matches.Players can board by waiting for it to pass by, chasing it in a car, orlanding nearby. For those eager to access the Train Vault, it'sadvisable to land close, quickly loot a landmark, and rush towards thetrain as it passes. This strategy ensures players acquire weapons tocombat turrets and rival opponents, securing their spot as the first toattempt the heist.
Players can board the train car by jumping and mantling onto it or descending from a high point. The train comprises five cars, and memorizing the contents of each car can aid in strategic planning.
Opening the Train Vault in Fortnite
To open the Train Vault, players must reach the third car and applyThermite to the vault door twice. The door will only yield to the second load of Thermite. The Thermite takes a few seconds to explode anddamage the door, requiring players to stay on the train for an extendedperiod. Destroying the turrets is wise to prevent them from injuring the player or any teammates, as turrets also drop Thermite upondestruction.
Once breached, hostile NPCs will spawnto protect the vault's contents. Players must either evade or eliminatethese adversaries to search the vault freely.
Loot Inside the Train Vault in Fortnite
Inside the Train Vault, players will find:
- 2 Dill Bits
- 3 Chest containers
- 3 Rare Chest containers
- Stacks of gold
This valuable loot includes several Epic or Legendary weapons and additional resources, significantly enhancing a player's arsenal.
