How to complete all Egg-cellent Observations story quests in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 4

While thrilling, some of these objectives can be confusing without a clear roadmap.
This step-by-step guide will provide everything you need to know to efficiently complete all Egg-cellent Observations story quests and help Hope confirm her theory about the island's latest threat.

Overview: All Egg-cellent Observations Quest Steps

The questline consists of six sequential objectives that will take you across the map. You must complete them in order, so focus on one task at a time. The full list of missions is:

Destroy Swarmer Nests to thin out the swarm.

Break open Hive Stashes to find traces of the swarm energy signature.

Tune sensors near The Hive to find demonic energy sources.

Collect Tainted Eggs at The Hive.

Bring the Tainted Eggs to Hope.

Defeat a Bug Queen to confirm Hope’s theory.

Step 1: How to Destroy Swarmer Nests

Your first task is to locate and destroy three Swarmer Nests. These structures are large, grey, and pulsate with a sinister purple glow, making them stand out in infested areas.
Best Locations to Find Nests: Head to any major swarm POI, such as The Hive, Ranger’s Ruin, or Demon’s Domain. Nests are often tucked against buildings, cliffs, or tucked inside caves within these zones. Simply use your pickaxe or any weapon to destroy three of them to complete this step.

Step 2: How to Break Open Hive Stashes

Next, you need to break open five Hive Stashes. These are bright orange, glowing sacs that contain valuable loot and are crucial for tracing the swarm's energy signature.
How to Complete: Return to the bug-infested locations mentioned above. The vibrant orange glow of the Hive Stashes makes them easy to spot on walls and in corners. Destroy five of these loot sacks to progress the story.

Step 3: How to Tune Sensors Near The Hive

This objective requires you to visit The Hive, a named location in the northwestern part of the island. Here, you must interact with three sensor devices.

Finding the Sensors: Upon landing at The Hive, look for floating white diamond icons on your minimap and in the game world. These markers indicate the sensorlocations. Simply approach each one and hold the interact button to tune it.

Step 4: How to Collect Tainted Eggs

After tuning the sensors, your next goal is to collect two Tainted Eggs. Fortunately, they are located in the same area.

Where to Look: Remain at The Hive POI and once again use the white diamond icons asyour guide. These will now lead you to the Tainted Eggs, which areinteractable objects on the ground. Collect two to proceed.

Step 5: Where to Bring the Tainted Eggs to Hope

With the eggs in your inventory, you must now deliver them to the NPC, Hope. She has set up a permanent base of operations.

Hope's Location: You can find Hope residing in the basement of Supernova Academy (formerly the Shattered Slabs landmark). Head inside the main buildingand look for a staircase leading down. Interact with her to hand overthe eggs and receive your next mission.

Step 6: How to Defeat a Bug Queen

The final and most challenging step is to defeat a powerful Bug Queen boss. She only spawns in one of three locations: The Hive, Ranger’s Ruin, or Demon’s Domain.

Strategy for Victory:

Land at Your Chosen POI. You must clear the area's initial threat meter first.

Damage the Swarm: Eliminate bugs, destroy nests, and break stashes. A health bar for thearea will appear at the top of your screen. Deplete this first bar.

Engage the Queen: Once the first health bar is gone, a second will appear with the text"Slay the Queen!" The Bug Queen will spawn and aggressively attack you.

Fight Tactically: Use high-damage weapons and keep moving. Build cover to block herprojectiles and focus fire until her health bar is completely drained.

Completing this epic battle will finish the Egg-cellent Observations questline,rewarding you with a significant amount of XP and advancing the season's story.
