Reality Seeds are not looted from the ground or in chests, but inside the round destructible plants, around Reality Falls and Logjam Lotus. When you have the seed, you will have to throw it on the ground so that sprouts appear from which you will obtain weapons, health supplies and ingots.
With a seed in your possession, you can go to Sunflower's Saplings or Fungi Farm to complete the quest. Sunflower's Saplings is an orchard located between Shifty Shafts and The Daily Bugle, near the top of the map.
Although if you found your Reality Seed in Reality Falls you can better travel to Fungi Farm, southwest of Greasy Grove. So plant the seed in either of the two locations to complete the challenge.
