You will be able to see that the mushrooms are marked by blue clusters, surrounded by purple from the trees.
Make sure you have the Ripsaw launcher with you, which with a bit of luck you could find as floor loot and in chests. Although you will also find that one of the NPCs has it for sale.
When you finally find the Ripsaw Launcher, you'll need to head towards the blue mushroom clusters, either in the Reality Falls or Greasy Grove area, on the southwestern side of the Fortnite map. To shoot the fence, you will have to press the trigger.
