The first thing to keep in mind is that this quest is seasonal, so you'll need to complete it before the week is out. So head to where the green earth biome is on the map. You will be able to see that the mushrooms are marked by blue clusters, surrounded by purple from the trees.Make sure you have the Ripsaw launcher with you, which with a bit of luck you could find as floor loot and in chests.
