How to complete Open Water Challenges in Fortnite?

First of all you should know that the Open Water Challenges will award you a number of XP points when you complete them, exactly 14,000 juicy points that will help raise the Battle Pass level of Fortnite.

The first three challenges will be unlocked just as you begin, and the rest will be unlocked as you progress through each one. As mentioned above there are a total of 10 challenges, if you manage to unlock at least the first 8 you will be able to access a loading screen for the mission where there is a hidden location.

Without more than that we leave everything on the Open Water Challenges in Fortnite.

Survive storm phases.

This challenge can be completed Solo, in Duo or Squad and if things get complicated you know what to do, Team Rumble.

Land on steep cliffs, salty springs and dirty docks.

This challenge doesn't have many complications, you'll simply have to go to the locations indicated by the title, which are also some of the new locations in the game.

Deals gun damage to opponents.

We recommend looking for a good weapon for this challenge and in case it gets complicated we recommend using Team Rumble.

Hide inside hiding places in different matches.

The hiding places are one of the new things we can find, which allows you to jump somewhere like a garbage can and hide from the enemy, this will allow you to say play the role of a crafty campero and hope that there is an enemy nearby to get out quickly and shoot.  But this is not the goal of this challenge, what you will have to do is jump some hiding place in three different games. You'll be able to find hiding places throughout the game so it won't be complicated.

Deals damage within 10 seconds of leaving a hideout.

This is similar to what we mentioned before, you will have to stay in some hideout and wait for someone to pass to attack.

Look for chests in steep cliffs or misty meadows.

This challenge does not have much explanation, you will have to look for chests and open them in steep cliffs or misty meadows which will give you a chance to get some things on them. If things get complicated you can always use Team Rumble.

Get an elimination of 50 mo more.

In this challenge we recommend using either a sniper rifle so you don't risk as much or a good assault rifle if you like the action.

Eliminate opponents with a sniper rifle.

This is another challenge where Team Rumble comes in handy, because you'll have to kill some enemies using a sniper rifle.

Search for boxes of ammunition in a single game.

You can also use Team Rumble to get the ammo as fast as you can.

Stay down less than 20m from an opponent for a total of 10 seconds.

You can complete this challenge in two ways, either by hiding somewhere you can duck or during a fight, crouch when they try to duck and try to do 10 seconds in a row if you can space it much better.

As you may have noticed the Open Water Challenges of Fortnite are not complicated, and the ones that could cause you more problems you can use Team Rumble or even go directly for the option to use Party Assist.

After completing at least eight challenges you will be able to access the loading screen which shows the new fishing mechanics as well as the Outcast and Turk vs Riptide skins.

You'll also find the letter O on the north side of the map in Craggy Cliffs, where there's a big building with some scaffolding and a deck area where the letter will be just below.

We hope that now that you know all the open water challenges in Fortnite, you can easily complete them to move forward in this new chapter of Fortnite.
