How to catch an Archerfish in Fields of Mistria
To defeat the Fish Wing or Earth Seal door in Fields of Mistria, you'll have to hunt down the Archerfish. This rare underwater monster is fortunately not bound by weather or seasons and can be found in the Mines.
Not known to spit at fishermen, Archerfish are nonetheless aquatic marksmen in real life, taking down insects with powerful water jets. The originality of the hunting technique inspired by their natural behavior adds an extra layer of interest in pursuing them.
Now, as you begin your search, remember patience will be your virtue. Archerfish are considered rare catches, meaning you will have to invest quite some time navigating the watery depths of the Mines. In time-and a little luck-you will reel in this prized fish and unlock its secrets.
Archerfish in Fields of Mistria?
To catch an Archerfish, there are some steps to be completed. First, unlock the Mines and get to level 20. Then, unlock Water Seal to access the Tide Caverns-floors 21 to 40-since an Archerfish resides within them.
This is true; the Archerfish have small shadows, but they are not alone inside the Tide Caverns. You will also be sure to catch the Sapphire Betta, as they are common fish inside these waters. You will be basically catching a bunch of Sapphire Betta when trying to hunt for Archerfish. Luckily, the Sapphire Betta can be donated to the Museum, given as a gift to Balor, or sold for 40 Tesserae each.
Besides Sapphire Betta, there are a few other fish in the Tide Caverns that you are bound to encounter, including Rainbow Trout and Golden Carp. These are two fish species that, surprisingly, are considered edible. Rainbow Trout and Golden Carp can be caught, cooked, and consumed, while Electric Eel is a fish that poses a danger to you if you come into contact with it.
The Tide Caverns is a hazardous place; make sure you have loads of healing items along. You would also have to defend yourself from the monsters. There are various types of monsters that live within the caves, slimes and bats, and even skeletons.
With a bit of luck, you'll eventually catch an Archerfish. Given that Archerfish are rare fish, it may take quite some time to actually find one. Once you have caught an Archerfish, you can donate it to the Museum or sell it for a fat price.

This is the case when Earth Seal, which in itself has the highest functionality if it would be conquered, unleashes in its wake a treasure trove that holds within it an ample amount of Silver Ore and Emeralds. Deep Earth also possesses a more varied ecosystem, with more species of fish and bugs to catch and donate to the Museum. This, in turn, helps your collection in the Museum and unleashes new rewards and progression in the game.
