Top Salewa Locations in Escape from Tarkov Customs – Stronghold

At the beginning of the wipe, my top choice for snagging these Salewas is in Customs. You have the opportunity to acquire multiple Salewas while also completing additional quests and collecting various quest items and keys during the raid, based on your spawn location.







For the ultimate discovery of Salewas in Customs, head straight to Stronghold. In the heart of the Customs map, you'll find the typical spawn points for the Goons or Reshala. You want to hit the Scav room immediately on the first floor and look for the bed. No need to hunt around, making this location a breeze to plunder.







Once you've finished in the Scav room, make your way to the adjacent small room on the first floor. This room features a potential Med Case container, with medical supplies also able to appear on the bed.







Head up to the second floor to discover additional Med Cases waiting for you. On the second floor, you'll find two potential Med Case spawns located on opposite sides. A medical supply crate is available, offering an increased likelihood of spawning a Salewa due to its larger loot capacity.

Streets of Tarkov – Base

The next prime location for a Salewa is in the Streets of Tarkov. Players often overlook Streets of Tarkov, as early quests on the map are typically absent unless you're specifically hunting for quest items such as Salewas, Morphines, and Gas Analyzers.







The Streets of Tarkov camp, home to the elusive Kaban spawn, stands out as one of the most sought-after locations in the game. The majority of the loot in this area consists of “technical” spawns, but there are also several medical spawns scattered throughout this location. First, you must hit the open storage containers next to both entrances. If you are by the Concordia entrance, the med spawns are by the metal shelves inside the storage container.







On this side, you can access the middle area and make your way down to the garage mini-lab (crawling inside is required). Here is the location to complete the Urban Medicine quest for your future needs.







The medical garage may contain a potential spawn for a medical supply crate, Medbag, and Med Case. Scattered across the metal shelves, you'll find an assortment of medical loot waiting to be discovered. You need to be fast when looting this area because the only way out is by crawling again.







When a PMC or Scav-player detects movement inside, you become an easy target, as your options for escape are severely limited.







Once you've raided the medical garage, don't miss the opportunity to search all the Duffle Bags scattered throughout the camp, as they have multiple spawn locations. Head over to the small building filled with filing cabinets and seek out the cozy room lined with metal shelves. This location is known for high-value medical items, with the added possibility of finding Salewas as well.







Since both entrances feature a storage container with medical spawns, it's best to save those areas for last when searching for Salewas. In this scenario, we began our journey at the Concordia-side entrance, and we will conclude at the Chekannaya building side entrance.

Interchange – Mantis, medical tents, and TT

Interchange offers a straightforward navigation experience. With the layout being straightforward, you can effortlessly remember these three key locations for medical spawns: Mantis, the med tents at Goshan, and TT.







Mantis can be found on the first floor, right at the heart of the mall. You'll find several Medbag spawns located near the stools, beds, and tables. Loose medical spawns can be found by the shelves, though they rarely yield any loot. A Med Case can also be found by the side entrance. The entire area presents a prime opportunity for looting, so make your way to the next location, TT, without delay.







Leave via the side entrance of Mantis and head towards the IDEA side. As you navigate through the Emercom medical unit, the TT store awaits your discovery. In the far corner, you’ll find an opportunity for a Medbag spawn along with a loose medical spawn positioned by the table.







Head over to Goshan and make your way to the medical tents by the cafe to wrap up your run. Many of the other medical spawns are secured behind keys such as ULTRA and the Emercom Medical Unit, allowing you to begin looting freely once you've accessed the locations mentioned above.

Woods – Emercom Base (camp adjacent to RUAF Roadblock)

The woods could very well be the second most promising location to discover Salewas early in the wipe, just trailing behind Customs. Navigating the map can be quite challenging, especially as you venture into one of its hottest spots: the Emercom Base.







The Emercom Base, nestled between the Sawmill and RUAF Roadblock, is home to a variety of Medical Supply Crates, Medbags, and scattered medical items near the tent. Concentrate on securing the Medical Supply Crates located at the center of the base and make your exit swiftly. If you don’t take precautions, some players may hear you and set up camp at the exits.
