As you reach the end of the Goku Saga in Dragon Ball Super, there come two parallel storylines that will introduce themselves to you. One will be the path leading to the discussion of the canon storyline, while another opens up a wide avenue for "What If?" scenarios courtesy of Sparking Zero.

In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Strength, the following are the steps towards accessing both the main storyline and the alternate endings.

In the Goku's Strength chapter of the game, you will have two objectives: 'Defeat Jiren' and 'Defeat Jiren quickly.' The former may not be any easier than-if not easier than-the latter, despite how it sounds. That is all thanks to the hyper-effective Ultra Instinct transformation of Goku, which escalates the intensity of battle. You need to take down the enemies faster by making great use of Ultra Instinct, which has an extremely powerful force. Somewhere during fighting with Jiren, you get a chance to use his second form, which is pretty strong.

To do that, charge your Ki and earn some Skill Points to reveal Goku's Sparking mode. Time will load up the progress bar little by little. This is the perfect skill for the purpose of this alternate path, since this will minimize the time used in fighting. Besides, every hit would cost him a ton of damage because you have the Ultra Instinct second form.

You can either lower the difficulty or wait for Vegeta to say: "Go on, Kakarot!" when you want to access the canon ending in Goku's Strength in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Now, it is time to take down Jiren. From what I was able to tell, this part of the fight starts around five or six minutes in after he has used his form.

Canon Route: Be patient in your attacks; if you rush quickly, it will trigger the other path. Don't rush the match but carefully use Goku's abilities, like Supreme Kamehameha or Ultra Kamehameha, without abusing them.

You want to mostly just wait for that little cinematic where Jiren transforms. After that, you can begin to use Sparking mode whittling down his health, waiting for it to start regenerating. Beyond that, you're waiting until Vegeta says that particular line. "To hell with your friendship" is what Jiren counters against Goku with, and that's how you'll know it's on. Don't worry about trusting me.

Just like in the other route, you'll be pitted against Jiren after defeating him twice. As always, just keep activating Sparking Mode and letting out Super Spirit Bombs. Or, as always, one can just make this fight easier by turning its difficulty down. Long as one is following the correct Dragon Ball Super storyline and always set that fight on easy, he will get the canon ending.
