How to reset skills in Diablo 2 Resurrected?

There are two ways to reset skills in the game.

One is by talking to Akara after finishing the first mission of Act 1 to get the skill and reset the stats per difficulty level. You can do this three times, once per character per difficulty level, which means you can reset during your normal playthrough, again once when you reach Nightmare and the last time when you reach Hell.

The other way to reset skills is to get a Token of Absolution, this item can be done by playing Hell.

When playing in Hell you will have to collect four items that drop from each Act boss.

Diablo: Fiery Essence of Terror

Baal: Purulent essence of destruction.

Andariel and Duriel: Twisted Essence of Suffering

Mephisto: Hate-laden essence.

You will then have to mix them in the Horadric Cube to craft an Absolution Token that you can consume to restore your abilities and stats.
