Today we bring you an explanatory guide on How To Invite Friends in Deadlock with precise details.

Deadlock's playtest may be exclusive, but it's surprisingly accessible if you or your friends are already involved. Despite being in its early development, the game is incredibly fun, especially when played with a group of like-minded individuals.

As you're likely aware, Deadlock's playtest operates on an invite-only basis. However, Valve has shown remarkable generosity in distributing invitations, even extending them to high-profile figures like CEO Gabe Newell. If you're eager to play with friends or team up with others, here's a detailed guide to help you do just that.

Deadlock: How To Invite Friends

To invite friends to play Deadlock, navigate to the main menu and locate the "Invite Your Friends" button. Clicking this will open a window displaying your friends list. Hover your cursor over a friend's name to reveal an "Invite" button. Simply click this to send an invitation.

Deadlock Invitation Timing

Please note that Deadlock invitations can take anywhere from 30 minutes to two days to arrive. It's recommended that your friends keep an eye on their Steam inbox and mobile app for notifications.

No Friend Limit

There's no limit to the number of friends you can invite to Deadlock. Feel free to invite as many as you'd like, whether they're friends you know personally or strangers you've met online.

Playtest End Date

As of now, there's no officially announced end date for the Deadlock playtest. However, based on the patterns of other Valve games like DotA 2 and Counter-Strike 2, it's likely that the playtest will continue until the game's full release.

Joining Friends in a Lobby

If your friends already have access to Deadlock and you want to play together, you can easily join their lobby. Start by clicking the "Play with Friends" button located on the main menu. This will open a window where you can invite them to your party.

Creating a Public Party

If you prefer to invite strangers to your game, you can create a public party. To do this, go to the "Play with Friends" screen and click the "Create Party Code to Share" button. This will generate a unique code that you can share with others. Anyone who has the code can join your party.

Starting the Game

Once everyone has joined your party, you can select a matchmaking activity from the Play menu. This will queue everyone up for the chosen activity. Remember to pick your heroes, discuss your strategies, and enjoy the game!
