Clair Obscur Expedition 33: All Playable Characters

All Party Members and Their Joining Points:

• Gustave: You begin Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as Gustave, the game's initial protagonist. You'll spend a significant portion of your early adventure controlling him. However, the narrative will eventually shift, and Gustave will become unplayable.
• Lune: Your first recruit will be Lune. She joins Gustave within the first major zone of the game: Spring Meadows. Lune is a powerful elemental magic user. Her unique "Stain" system allows her to accumulate different elemental icons, which she can then strategically utilize to enhance her attacks in battle.
• Maelle: Following your exploration of Spring Meadows, the next major area you'll venture into is Flying Waters. Upon reaching a mysterious Manor within this water-themed zone, you will encounter Maelle, who will subsequently join your party. Maelle's arrival also introduces you to a crucial character who can help you upgrade your weapons and utilize the valuable Colours of Lumina resource.
• Sciel: After navigating the subsequent area, the Ancient Sanctuary, your path will lead you to Gestral Village. As part of the main storyline in this location, you will participate in the Arena. Sciel will be your final opponent in this Arena challenge. Upon her defeat, she will join your growing party. Sciel's combat style revolves around the mystical power of tarot cards and the celestial energies of the sun and the moon.
• Verso: Following the events in Gestral Village, Verso will eventually join your expedition. He plays a key role in introducing you to your final party member. Verso's recruitment occurs towards the end of Act 1, after you have traversed the Stone Wave Cliffs area.
• Monoco: Verso will lead you and the rest of the party to meet his companion, Monoco, at Monoco's Station. You will initially face Monoco in battle at this location. After defeating him, another encounter will follow, after which Monoco will officially join your team. Monoco possesses a unique ability to transform into different Nevron forms during battle by utilizing Feet, a special item dropped by certain enemies throughout the world. It's important to note that Feet will only begin to drop once Monoco has joined your party.
